omg cofa is the bomb i'm doing b.fine arts/arts and i absolutely love it! the teachers are excellent and i love the freedom you get to paint virtually anything you want and it's only the second semester! have a friend doing digital media and she loves it too- don't need any experience for that...

hmmm well i dropped composition for music of the 20th/21st century because i also can't compose so i can't say i'm much help here but things i did pick up are have lots of contrast and interest, make your choice of performing media something that will be easy to get hold of when recording it...

for topping academic subjects we get a book and then there's other random prizes- can't remember what they get for that but i'm getting the creative arts prize which is just them giving the trophy back to me i got from our art exhibition and i get to keep it for the next year and thne give it...

well for my elective muso i did how debussy created mood and atmosphere in his music. just find something that interests you as it will make it more enjoyable

ummm i did 20/21st century music and 19th century music but i can't really give much advice cos i focused on certain things (debussy for 20thc and the waltz for 19thc) so if you have some form of interest on those things i have notes on them and i can send them to you. just pm me

hmm i did mus1 but i think i'd have liked to have at least tried mus2 looking back. so i think i'd say try mus2 and if you don't like it i think you can change to mus1 (i'd check with that cos i'm not 100% sure if you can). just see how it goes oh and good luck for tomorrow!you'll be fine :)

LOL same here! i went through a couple of periods where i was like 'DIE MUSIC' and funnily enough the one thing that could calm me down was playing my piano! funny how the thing i love the most is the thing i can get most stressed about and hate the most

i'm still gonna have lessons- couldn't give it up even if i wanted to! it seemed to be a bit of a shame to just quit cos music finished at school and it's a good form of destressing/relaxation so i'm staying at my piano

i didn't get nominated which was kind of a shame but i suppose my work wasn't very artexpressish. congrats to those that did though, that's really awesome!

i liked doing society just cos it's generally more interesting. the stuff was generally easier to learn as well

i was just wondering if anyone else put down art at sydney college of the arts for next year? and what on earth do you put down in the questionairre thingo in 'professional practice'?? anyone know? thanks

it was heaps better than i thought it'd be. the minoan society questions were the BOMB i couldn't have asked for better! same with the augustus to titus extra society that was good too. but the cleo was a bit dodgy- what the hell was her social position??? oh well i'm bloody happy it's over WOOHOO!

aw that really sucks. i wouldve been so pissed off if that'd happened to us. i mean just having to wait ANOTHER hour would be really annoying. we once had the cd misplaced in i think our 1/2 yrlys but they found it again so it was ok haha that's happened to us on some frequent occasions but...

mus 1 wasn't too bad. none of the pieces were like 'what the hell' as in totally crazy can't write anything about this. yeah q3 was probably the closest to that. but i didn't find any of the pieces super fantastic either. eh whatever
