I'm from South West sydney. The weird thing is, for my trial, I received 16/20 for my Aussie theatre essay, and then for homework I handed in the same essay and she gave me a c plus mark and it had red writing all over it. Beats me.

We did a mini procession thing at school where we touched upon peer pressure and the pressure to conform into everyone else. No one got it though. The essays are always about techniques and how they help the experience.

All the issues and concerns can intertwine with each other. I also meant that like, if the writer came from a divorced family, he can put that into the play as well. In addition, the writer's thoughts on war could be reflected in his play if you know what I mean

Issues and concerns are meant to go together, so personal issues are basically what the playwright/practitioner is thinking, how they've been affected and how they've responded. But I remember my teacher saying how personal is actually YOU as the responder, so that confuses things. Just talk...
