Ideally, the performance thingo should only be an indicator or a little lesson on what goes on in a site specific performance - just an opportunity to apply the skills that the textbook or John Fox's pot filled mouth taught you to do. But I guess its too late to back down from such a grand plan.

When you're doing video drama, you have to try and avoid creating a "music clip". As in, what you see on Rage, Videohits etc. Markers don't like that and in a way, believe that the music is used as an excuse for poor sound quality, bad acting and other bad things you don't want to have your...

Remember to write all your shit down into your log book. IN fact, write EVERYTHING in your log book so that a week before handing it in, you don't have to be making fake entries. Fill em up with scripts, pictures, dirt even.

My guess is that you have to write about what you did, what was the intention, how did you achieve what you intended and stuff like that. Sort of a "making of" documentary but in written form.

Just to throw it into the mix, Sony Vegas is pretty cheap and the features there are good enough for a good video project. If you aren't thinking of making explosions or cyber hectic special effects, and just want to make a minimalists film, or even add a bit of blur and so forth, consider Vegas.
