At least CHinese is being offered in YOUR chinese....I'm forever doomed to be one of those "bananas". *gripes about lack of chinese-ness*
But the question is, could you handle doing chinese+law during uni semester? I'd go with the diploma, if you can be bothered to wait/want to learn chinese...
Also, they also take into account work experience etc for journalism transfers so if you could possibly get some kind of journalistic work experience, it would help your chances soo much. I'm pretty sure they provide you with a chance to write a personal statement, so it doesnt rely purely on...
I've only really done the foundation-y type subjects - Legal Research & Legal Process and History and the marks haven't come back yet - but the difficulty wasn't too bad for both. Legal Research was quite easy; 2hrs of classes each week, and not much work outside class exercises etc. You can get...

Try emailing the uni's admissions centre. Calling them up usually gives you a faster response (they have a pretty quick turn-around reply time, though) but if you do call, make sure you write down who you talk to and what time you talked to them - I've had three different replies to my question...
Hey just wondering about the media and communication transferees - I thought Usyd doesnt have a combined m+c/law course? Or are you guys just gonna trasnfer into Arts/Law then? What happens to your media unit then? Is it still credited?
Nah, its just that SI/Law ppl have a "BA Com (SI) Compulsory Subjects" which we have to choose between either Political Theory or Social Theory, but because thats offered only in Autumn Semester & Political Theory is offered only in Spring Sem, it just means you have to do some switching &...
