yup, so they are binding? so yeh, my teacher sed this was mandatory sentencing to an extent :nods:

its true, mandatory sentencing has been ABOLISHED however, there are still guidelines in law which details the amount of time/type of punishment for a specific case that judges can refer to (im not sure if this is binding) so even though it doesnt formally exist, it still operates somewhat.

well... for starters our question sucked compared to the other modules because we got a block of text rather than a photo or picture. but the extract was very good and i referred to it heaps unlike some of the weirdo ones we get at school! i didnt memorise an essay for this so i came up...

i still think mid to high 80's will get you a band 6 the exam was mixed -- short answers were weird and lengthy but that was good because i hated those ones where they want you to define shit... cmon we're not in yr 7 anymore! i liked that exam :) essays were straightforward, SA were full...
