what i rather should say is pseudo provides you with the basics.... look at assembly code and u can make out what it does because...
meh pseudocode is a breeze...
it's pretty much like a programming language... well programming languages are more like it rather. Not a waste of time me thinks, if you know pseudo... you can code pretty much using any language... general syntax is all the same anywayz...
i recommend writing a couple of sentences for each syllabus point... for the theory stuff you already know, just list the dot point in the syllabus.
then after writing (or typing them) out, then read them over and highlight the important points. It sounds time consuming, but it really does...
yep it sure is.... in the days before the hsc exam, SamD was hanging around heaps on the board helping us with our questions... (check out the posts just before the exam)
if your reading this Sam, thanks heaps! :)
logbook and gantt chart are both used in the syllabus - might be called journal though......and actually are used in the real world.
as for documentation, it may seem like something not important to the course, but in business they actually do use them... suprise suprise...

certainly agree there!
i remember i had around 20 min left in the exam and i still had the option left....... in the end i just wrote down anything which popped into my mind which somehow related to the question.... and it worked
it doesn't really matter what language you use as all languages have control structures etc..... so assuming the teacher knows how to program they should be able to understand and follow the logic of the code....
we we're allowed to use the language of our preference when we had to do our major.
Ended up doing Advanced for the HSC.... but I did do 1 term of Standard in Year 12.... Was doing Adv in year 11, moved down to Standard for yr 12 then about one and a half modules in, moved back up to Advance following some words of wisdom :D Crazy catching up though.

nothing really 'scales' your uai up as such....
IPT is like any subject if you do good, it contributes well to your UAI... if you do average then it contributes average...
hmm a semi rough idea (doing some research on ecommerce at the moment for work)... don't know if my explanation will make sense though, ecommerce is confusing at times
- customer goes to website... selects goods... then it comes to transaction.. user enters data into relevant fields, hits...
i did evolution of programming langs...
we had a choice but we chose the evolution one, as our class had varying degrees of mathematical skills ranging from extension 2 to general.
the evolution topic is pretty good, if your teacher lets you play with different languages.
hmm well i guess describe the processes of how data is transmitted from the client to the payment gateway which processes the transaction then credits the merchant bank account (assuming its a payment or sale)...
the process involved may include fraud checking of credit cards, but this...
