haven't sat the umat once. but i can kind of project that some questions would be repeated. not exactly the very same question, but the same format, different situation and stuff. i like to believe that things can be learnt to a certain degree. i wouldn't go preparing myself excessively just for...
did you go? it's more than 850 this year, and i pay most of it, school gives little. not that it matters. i hardly get the chance to spend so much money, and it's one off. so who cares.
i just hate going to class. if i did french and ext, i'd have 14 units. the content is easy but the time you spend bludging in class is significantly a lot. i also hate going offline for my other units because of quality of teachers and lessons etc. i don't know. french scales so high though.
wow. thanks for that huy. i was just thinking cause if you go on the net and search stuff like 'logical reasoning' and 'spatial tests', the stuff are kind of different, some american etc. so it confuses you a bit as to what you should do in preparation. i think directly relevant preparation is...
do you think i shouldn't have? i'm a bit confused myself. it's all a big tangle somewhere in my head.... i guess even if i wanted to pick it up, i could still do that cos they don't do an assessment until term 1 2004, and i can catch up easily. you did ext didn't you sugaryblue?
how do you prepare for umat? i have no doubt it's difficult and challenging and all, but that doesn't mean you can't do anything to prepare for it right?
yeah, by the look of it. most schools quite disregard languages. all the better because i've officially dropped it. my teacher was soooo nice. i was her star pupil. but then i have to think about my future, hsc, uai and stuff. the only regret is that french scales rather well. extension is...
i think the fact that emma/clueless is under the 'transformations' elective while bnw/blade are under 'in the wild' also has significance. wouldn't that mean that in comparing emma/clueless, the focus would be largely how context has shaped the transformation of former to latter, while in...
the way i see it, emma is a great deal longer a novel than bnw in that i could easily read bnw again but wouldn't be bothered to do so with emma. bnw is concise and info packed, it's divided into chapters that allow easy tracking. emma is just one long story, finding quotes may prove a bit...
Anyone got any idea which one might be better? I read parts of Emma and BNW but still don't know which one to choose. What do you think of either? I guess there is a gender distinction present in the texts too.

i can see insomnia has had an effect on your spelling.
anyway, serious now. not sleeping is very bad for your health. i wouldn't resort to drugs as agreed to by most others. i think you shouldn't be too anxious at night about not being able to sleep or what time it is, how long you've been...
yap, sorry turtle, i didn't check this thread for some time. You're really cool, i looked at your profile and you've turned out exactly the way i want to turn out in a year's time when i finish the HSC.
I just did a more detailed check of your profile and now i know a looot about you. It's...
I drop french because it's soo boring. the stuff we did in yr 10 was yr 8 stuff repeated and in yr 11, we go sooooo slow i can jig lessons a week and still be the coolest chick in class. i guess i hate memorising vocab, and the grammar is slightly confusing too.
