Re: Semester I 2007 - Chatter Thread!
Isn't that inorganic labs where you have to be extremely accurate with your results (level 4)? They were pretty bad. In third year, though, inorganic is so much better.
Re: Semester I 2007 - Chatter Thread!
Man, uni is shite this semester. Physical chemistry labs are shocking and the amount of assignments I get is unbelievable (I have four due next week). I don't have a social life anymore. :(
I think every company is different. At Big W, no one can work more than 38 hours per week (this is increased to 48 hours during Christmas).
Casual:
Pay is usually higher due to 20% casual loading
No sick pay/annual leave, etc
You're not guaranteed shifts or anything
Part-time
Pay is lower-...
As many of the posters have pointed out, there are many threads base done this located here. As a result of the various threads on this and the spam that is going on, this thread is now closed.
It sounds like you have burnt yourself out. The key thing is to balance study and your social life. What the above poster has mentioned are fairly good tips. Just don't try and study hours and hours each night; maximum 2 hours with a break every 1/2 hour.
Chemistry exams are usually on the first Monday, first year physics is on the first Saturday (well it has been for the past two years). That's all I really know.
I payed the $20, and I get the SMH from the campus store on weekdays, and I get the SMH and Sun-Herald delivered to my home on weekends. You need to tick a box on the apllication form for it.
To the original poster:
1. Well done on having such a high I.Q.
2. If you feel like you're wasting your life, that should be enough to motivate you to study.
This thread has no point and has gone completely off-topic. Thread closed.
I managed to get a mid band 5 for my final HSC results. My assessment mark was about 85. I simply followed the syllabus points, wrote down notes for each point, made sure I understood everything rather than rote learning so you can elaborate on your answers in exams.
Because it was full of spam. This forum is used to discuss the HSC related issues only and anything not related should be posted in the non-school forum otherwise your posts/threads will be deleted.
I'm never usually on the Western avenue side of campus, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me or proivde me with a map of the location of Ralph's cafe?
Thanks.
Re: McDonalds Wages
I only worked at maccas for 8 months about 4 years ago, and even if it is cheap labour, many employers like potential employees who have worked there since they have some sort of experience that requires hard work and efficiency.
