Yeh I agree, and I think the main point is since I hated auditing so much Im better off not doing it for my own sanity.

I don't have anything constructive to contribute to this discussion but I congratulate you for escaping the auditing profession. I cannot imagine anyone has always aspired to be an auditor (or even an accountant?) and spending the rest of their lives studying and keeping up to date with accounting standards. I'd much rather associate with a salesperson than an accountant.
