i love playing online games....it feels like your playing with your friends in the room...what are the most popular computer online games out now?

My guess would be WoW or CS. But I have no stats to back this up, and not being a hardcore cpu gamer this is just an educated guess.

umm, the NS community kind of died a few years ago. it was an excellent game, but its really not for the masses. i doubt theres more than 100 aussies playing it online at any given time now.

according to the xfire stats WoW, CS 1.6/Source, BF2 and WC3:FT are generally the most played games.

Battlefield (especially #2 and 2142) is very popular, while Call of Duty 1 and 2 for PC are popular also, but not quite as much as Battlefield.

Starcraft[korea. need i say more?]
Counterstrike [all iterations of it]
WoW[8 million subscribers now? plus massive time spent online by all of those people]
Bf2
DotA
