haha god...u go to a uni where u feel u can learn the best
for me, I chose UNSW after I got my UAI coz it has the best Faculty of Commerce and Economics in the South-East Asian region - and thats a fact

like.. like... im shocked.
ok i know the uai thing is just an indication of how popular a course is but its gotta account for some credibility at least wudnt u say? well i dunno what other uni offers aerospace. and the 99.3 makes it look even more dazzling at usyd. hmm, why do ppl say usyds bad engineering?

Someone mentioned crappy USYD student ID cards
Apprently, you can get good proper plastic ID cards if you pay money at the library. I've seen some people with them at exams and stuff, they look like drivers licenses.
And there's talk that they plan to implement some sorta new fangled smart card system by the end of 2004 or something, so we can pay for food and stuff electronically.
Which uni has the biggest collection in the southern hemisphere or something?
Which uni is Australia's first uni, and has 200+ years of history and tradition?
Which uni senate decided to jack up HECS by 30% even before the legislation to do so has passed, and feels justified in doing so due to the popular demand of the uni?
Which uni is close enough to the city, and yet you still have the university campus atmosphere instead of the office building tower feeling?
Which uni spends like millions of dollars buying "junk DNA" for research?
Which uni has useless outdoor electronic changable displays that say nothing but "Welcome to the University of Sydney"

The University of Sydney has its benefits and disadvantages, but at the end of the day, there is nothing more freshing than to walk through the main quad listening to the bell carilion thing playing.
