Can they really ask for three?kaz1 said:Does supplementry= related texts? I'm planning on having two related texts but they might ask for 3 in the exam so I'll have one as a backup.
they won't ask for a number they will say something like 'with reference to your core text and other texts you have studied, blah blah blah'bored of sc said:Can they really ask for three?
Oh really? I think I'll have 2. Maybe 3.gibbo153 said:they won't ask for a number they will say something like 'with reference to your core text and other texts you have studied, blah blah blah'
its obviously not going to look good if you only have one.
our schools making us do 4 =/
I cannot comment for individual schools, but in the HSC or independent/cssa trials: NO. 100% certain, they have never asked for this in the past. (And if they consider it later, then i and most likely your teachers as well, will hear about it and will pass this onto you, so don't fret now!)bored of sc said:Can they really ask for three?
While i would normally support such a strategy that involves comprehensive research and would, as a result, foster deeper insights, for most students - particularly the standard students - this is both unreasonable and unhelpful.Aplus said:Have 3 supplementary texts. Although you could probably get through with 2, have an extra one in case the question/assessment does not suit your preferred text.
