OTEN's HSC department = a TAFE HSC department = a school. They would scale by the exact same rules as every other school and TAFE that runs the HSC. The only difference is the delivery. Syllabus, scaling, allignment and examination is the same process as for everyone else.Riviet said:Good question sando, I was also wondering that. What would they do with the scaling?
I get three assessments per subject - two open book and one exam. And for the HSC exams themselves, I go to a TAFE college or school to sit for them.Riviet said:Do you still get assessments from each subject that you have to hand in on a set date just like in the normal HSC? How does it work?
I would love to get about 85 for my UAI (which I have choosen that part of the course to get) and hopefully get into teaching (maybe TAFE teacher or something - probably not school).sando said:hey 'Pink Butterfly', what is ur goal for the HSC and UAI and dont u find it hard juggling a part time job and no social life from skool
Scaling and stuff are the same. I think the main advantage of doing the HSC through OTEN, is the fact that the marjority of teachers are all ex-HSC-markers.Riviet said:Good question sando, I was also wondering that. What would they do with the scaling?
Time to pay up then, how did you find doing the HSC through OTEN (or part of it), sikeveo?sikeveo said:Damn i still haven't paid my oten fees![]()
