I missed the 'welcome' ... (1 Viewer)

Alas, I had to work on Monday.

I am beginning study in the Bachelor of Construction Management and Property [or Building Construction Management from 2006 and back], and i wonder if i have missed anything major?

At the Welcome do we learm what books to get?, or is it not really important, due to everyone saying that you should not buy books until told in class what to get.

i went to the FBE welcome too

they just started talking about how good the uni was, watch an "yellow shirt" campus video thing
then the split us up into our specific courses..
im don archi... so i dunno bout u

i already forgot most of the stuff they said, it wasnt that important.

for archi, the guy said they'll tell u wat to buy in th first week
but someone asked.. he said they made a text book pack
it was 500!!!!!
now im wondering if this textbook pack is for the whole course or only for first yr?
