This generally applies for maths and the sciences, maybe not so for the technology subjects, but I can see where you're coming from. We've always been told to spend 1.8 minutes per mark in Mathematics exams, rather than say, English. (1.8 minutes does not equate to 1 mark in English, but again, I can see the parallel between mark allocation vs time required to answer the question).Originally posted by grendel
if you divide 180 minutes by100 marks you get 1.8 minutes per mark.

if you want to practice multiple choice questions the board of studies website was trialling an online multiple choice question "helper". its down now but they say they will trial it again in the near future.

When you're under pressure, you'll be forced to think faster than you normally would, and of course, you would have to 'put down an answer' if time is running out, or if you're going over-time.Originally posted by rx72c
I got it, did the whole thing and got 91% but didnt help me in my multiple choice. That means im going to fast in the exam

I always leave multiple choice to last, that way if you run out of time with the rest of th exam, you can just like put down A for everything, and you wll prob get about 25% for it, but thats better than missing a couple o 6 marks for another part.
