Hey guys, just noticed that alot of the past papers have questions on duration, and this is my weakest element..any body that has spare notes and is willing to share..I will love you muchly :) Everything else I'm sweet on..but I'd like to touch up on that.. Also noticed the use of "sound sources" alot..We never heard this term..is it just like performing media? Thanks!

Duration means tempo, time, rhythm, etc. just look out for tempo markings, slow, fast, gradual, etc, time signature - is it simple or compound - look for changing meters - which may mean its a modern piece, and rhythm - look for syncopations, hemiolas, odd rhythmic groupings, etc sory this is kind of a rough outline on duration i could go on forever talking about it so yeah sory if it doesnt make any sense im sure someone else could come up with a beter explanation!
