I think libertarianism tends to be disproportionately represented on the internet. That's just my guess though.Slidey said:Why is Ron Paul so big on the internet anyway?
lol bookmaker.com has him at $6.00 methinks it'd be worth putting some money down on the other candidates, if only because far too many Ron Paul fans are pouring money into ridiculously short betting markets rather than into his campaign.Schroedinger said:RON PAUL WILL WIN IOWA
He will not

Maybe at home. But for the Australian federal election there seemed to be a disproportional representation of leftards with their socialist agenda rooting for Kevin Rudd.volition said:I think libertarianism tends to be disproportionately represented on the internet. That's just my guess though.
To the gallows with them.Schroedinger said:Yeah and these are the same fucktards that think his filtering idea is a great idea because it makes Child Porn Illegal.
Actually John Howard was an arch-socialist himself.Republican said:Maybe at home. But for the Australian federal election there seemed to be a disproportional representation of leftards with their socialist agenda rooting for Kevin Rudd.
I meant in the general sense of "we need more money. print more money" because it's not metred against anything.Schroedinger said:Gave away because the RBA can't print money lah.
If you're waiting for governments to grow so large that they collapse, wouldn't it make sense for you to vote for big-government supporting parties, since this would speed the emergence of anarchocapitalism?volition said:mises.org is good, although I think Lew Rockwell and the others are just going too easy on Ron Paul. They're supporting him too much for it to be healthy. If you read Lew Rockwell's site, Ron Paul is basically Jesus over there.
Ron Paul should only be supported in that he is raising awareness about the cause of libertarianism. His presidential campaign will not "save us", and he will not be able to infiltrate the government and turn it against itself, this has been tried many times before and failed every time. You won't bring the system down by working within the system, it is heavily weighted against you.
If you want freedom, give up participation in the political process, and this will at least be a start. Stop pretending that democracy has an influence on what your inalienable rights as a human are.
