I'm not sure what to include under this heading from the syllabus...I've talked about the fear that existed in US and the USSR...and the propaganda...but does anyone here have some better ideas for me?

um you could include science and technology and talk about development of bigger and better weaponry and the amount of government spending on defence.
you could also include sport as a topic and mention the boycotting of respective olympic games
