Very true. But one thing i learned from UNI is smart lecturers != good teachers. I'd rather be taught by a recent graduate who can teach than a world renowned Nobel prize winner who puts you to sleep. In fact, my UNI marks are direct indicators of how much I enjoyed the lecturers teaching (as...
Got the following in my email a few days ago. It seems that it was only sent to me for some strange reason (according to the email header info). Anyone else got the email?

Dear Student,
The outstanding quality of our accounting research has been recognised internationally by the...
I'm not sure which formulas your talking about? Heres how i would do it though:
dv/dt + 1.625v = 0
from here its obvious that:
v(t) = A e^(-1.625)t <<<<----Is this the memorised formula your talking about?
if v(0) = 20 then A = 20.
v(t) = 20e^(-1.625t)
But wogboys method is...
If thats the case then i wouldn't be surprised to find UNSW so low. For most of the subjects, students are forced to do a survey at the end of the semester.
Yes Comp eng is hard but really, are you sure you want to transfer after 1st semester? Give it some time, first year (or first semester) always SEEMS 100x harder then the following years (even though it's not). I went through HELL (i dont think there's a better word to describe what it felt...
yes but he's doing general maths. No way he'll pass 1131 without atleast 2 unit knowledge.
You can enroll in general maths 1b here, but even that requires 2 unit background. Not sure if they have courses any lower than this. You might want to speak to the maths faculty about it...
Just apply for normal CS or Software degree instead of going from arts to something else. I dont understand why you want to do it that way?
Also, bridging course is normaly for people with 2 unit background, not general mathematics. You can probably enroll in some introductory mathematics...
depends on the subjects you choose to do i guess...however generally engineering is more practical based.
edit: but then again, in a computing degree, practical = programming. :p
I hate the "one week before uni" feeling. Makes me sick. Especially when i think of the assaignments and exam stress that we're going to go through all over again. :(
Just a question sunny, in the final transcript when you graduate, will it mention any minors depending on the electives we chose (specifcally for computer engineering)? Also, does it list every subject you did from 1st year or 3rd year only?
thanks :)
