I didn't go to the open day. Didn't inquire about applying until last week :p I've only been to UNE once ever actually, and that was for my brother's graduation.
Back to the car issue. How on earth can running a car be cheaper than the bus? Whats the parking like, is there any undercover...
Thanks objects.
What do you think my order of prefs should be? Not sure on the 3rd. I'm thinking:
1. Duval
2. D & S
3. St. Alberts / EP?
4 GB wont be enough for me. Will have to look at getting something else too. Wonder if the phone lines support adsl... might just have to get...
Hey folks, I'll be the first one to ask for this year :)
Going to UNE on-campus in 2009. Bit different for me though because I've been doing it off campus for 2 years, so I'll be doing mostly 3rd year subjects and will be older than most (22). I'm also a bit of a loner (dont like going out...

Got bad ranks in english and ancient because...
Yes, been very bored during the day. I've become like an old granny, having naps in the afternoon (just because I am so bored).
Oh.. and im worried about my UAI as well :P
PILOT BPS-GP <M> is my pen of choice.
"Ergonomical, soft rubber grip for writing comfort. The grip has a triangular cross-section that utilised the thumb, index and middle fingers.
Uses Pilot's advanced formula oil based ink for very smooth writing.

Hand always starts to get sore towards the end of the exam, especially the 3 hour ones. Writing starts off pretty neat / good size and progressively gets worse throughout the exam as my hand gets worse.
lol some of my super condensed modern history notes were good like that, eg:
Stressemann = roxxor
Chancellor Bruning = noob
Rohm = owned
Obviously my normal study notes were more detailed than that :P
I didnt use these for the HSC, but I used them for one of my trial exams. It actually is pretty easy if you are smart about it. Anyway I dont think you should cheat, I only did it because I was very desperate at the time... no excuse I shouldnt have done it etc... BUT NOW I'LL LET YOU ALL IN ON...
WW1 was like a free marks give away. EASY
Germany... Was hoping for a question about the Weimar Republic collapse or totalitarian state. My prayers were answered!
Speer. Did ok, but not great.
Indochina.. never studied for it that much but I did read over the effects the anti war movement...
FINISHED!!!!!
Modern History was my last :D
Kind of cool to finish the hsc with my first and last all nighter for an exam :P
Going out tonight to celebrate wohooo!
Yeah I think the all nighter turned out pretty well :D
Didnt feel sick/tired in the exam, I remembered everything... although I admit I did find it a little hard to think.
Anyway, definately got a way better mark than I would have thanks to a good all nighter :)
I feel physically exhausted but my mind is sharp and ive retained the knowledge... I don't regret doing an all nighter... but I'm looking forward to sleeping after the exam :P
Finished reading my ww1 notes
4:30am, cant concentrate anymore. I'm reading the words but thinking about something else :S
So yeah, going to have a nap and get up at 6-7am to do indochina.
Update:
Still going strong! 3-5am is the worst time when we are at our lowest energy/concentration levels. Tough it out, eat and drink, and by 5am youll be starting to be more alert again.
Germany memorisation complete.
