Not sure really :( ... they didn't say anything about EE2.
Are you planning to spend some time out at all these holidays? IMO, I think you should, cause you'll be burned out by the time the HSC arrives!
I'm sure you'll get that 99 you're aiming at, your ranks atm reflect that :D
Didn't really need to ask for EE1, cause they came up to me telling me that 'they're considering me'... kinda weird, but whatever haha.
My modern history teacher thinks the HSC is a load of crap as well, kinda funny.
But when you think about it, the hsc and exams in general don't provide students with the social adequacy or skills needed in the 'real life'... all it does is create nerdy non-social freaks for the most. On the...
Like... study full out? You're joking right?!
I've only received three exams thus far, without any rankings and ouch!
Art was great, 54/60
Business was bad 54/90 - I'm dropping BS
Math was the worst yet, 49/100 ... the average was roughly 38% tho.
I have high hopes for English :D
Glad it...
I doubt it. My parents aren't strict... more lenient and encouraging than anything.
It's a combination of what I've heard, past exam experiences and factual information, for example universities that form our fear imho.
Trying to balance my social life with studies, it's proving to be a challenge already lol! What about you?
High hopes :P
Well, if you fail... it makes your life that much harder... it significantly impacts your life!
Does anyone know if we need prior knowledge (English Ext 1) to get into EE2 for year 12?
They're considering me for EE2 after they've finished marking our English exams :D ... but forgot to ask them if EE1 was a prerequisite...
I'll be dropping Business Studies either way - hate it.
Oh, that makes sense cem, thanks.
Thanks for the suggestions, thing is, we haven't been told what our related texts will be for our subjects. I'm pretty sure it'll be Frankenstein and Macbeth for English tho.
I'll draft/brainstorm ideas for both my body of work and creative writing pieces as...
We all need to get serious now, so I'd like to kick start myself with a bit of study from time to time in the following/Christmas holidays... but I'm not sure what to study?
From your personal experiences, what should I be studying now to prepare for the HSC... the BOS 2010 HSC syllabus isn't...
Hi again.
Finished all my yearly’s, but now I have to decide whether to drop either SOR or Business Studies?
If I drop SOR, Catholic Studies is compulsory, so no study periods there whereas If I drop Business I'll gain study periods which would benefit me in the long run.
With Business...
Some hilarious stories here haha.
I had my first crush in Year 5... God she was beautiful inside and out - blonde wavy hair, cute smile, button nose, a smart little bugger too. She wasn't interested in me until the last term of Year 6, where we sat in arranged seats, next to each other... I...
re: Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread
5/8 exams done... I'm all burnt out already!
Really can't be stuffed anymore.
What did you end up getting? :o
If that's what you meant, I totally agree with you. People nowadays tend to just value looks yet not valuing in personality. Besides, personality lasts longer than beauty right?
If you're beautiful outside but not inside, what's the point?... -cough- Megan Fox -cough-
Personally...
Kilometrico are awesome.
But I use a Parker pen for exams and clicking on Parker pens are sooo addictive, so not that great of an idea to bring them into exams haha...
Your question is a little vague?
There are lots of Christian boys out there. But are you looking for someone that would pour their heart into you, passionate, caring, affectionate,... basically more affectionate than the average guy and someone that would step out of their way just to do...
