no way.
it's not that i suck at history, because i know i dont. i'm averaging high 90's for history and have been for the past 4 years, but this exam was pretty challenging in comparison to ones from previous years. i mean, i filled it out fine, and had to cram some of my information in, but...
hmm didn't it say a policy?
it might be correct though, im not sure. even if it's not correct, they'll probably give you some marks for having some info? haha i dunno...
yep you're totally right.
i was using a definition that my (stupid) teacher gave us, and she wrote it up with acceleration and displacement switched around for some reason, so everyone in my class wrote displacement. i compared my notes to a textbook and was very annoyed lol
thanks for...
well, my reasoning for throwing water at him was that if it was only his shirt on fire, then why bother wrapping him up and rolling him around when you could -in one swift movement- drench him in some nice refreshing H2O?
i thought that i was smart lol :(
Re: Science SC
Distance is the length of path travelled by an object.
It is a scalar with only a magnitude(value).
unit: m
Displacement is the change in position of a moving object.
It is a vector with a magnitude and direction.
unit :m
Velocity = change in displacement / time taken...
oops i threw water at him.
haha i was just imagining him being sprayed by an extinguisher and the force being so intense that he flew backwards and hit a brick wall or something.
haha you can tell i wasnt concentrating in that exam.
Re: Science SC
i put conical flask. i didn't think flask would be specific enough...
cs01001, im pretty sure it's displacement, but ill check my textbooks for you.
argh me too. i just introduced my outline in the first paragraph, gave some information about DNA (its structure and function) in the second, and then spoke about the diagram ..all crammed down the bottom of the page.
eep i didnt realise it should be dot points...
oh my gosh i just glanced at your post and i thought it said wet tshirt day hahah and i was thinking "um...yeah i guess that would have been an interesting newspaper report..."
i go to st george girls.
im going to do at practice test for maths. then im going to look over my piles of notes for geography/history and do 2 or 3 practice exams....only cos i want to do well in history :D
i'd say just study a little so that you feel fairly confident during the exam.
i agree. i was far too lenient in my description.
for the change of direction question i wrote displacement. im pretty sure that's correct...although, force is pretty good too :)
speaking of exam supervisors, one of the little old ladies was giving me dirties and shaking her head at me all...
i'm a little nervous about history/geography, just because you can't really bs your way through either like you can science and english.
maths should be pretty easy, i guess. except i suck at the non-calculator section. :(
i did the morgan high newspaper report section last, and mine was so, incredibly lame. i just spoke about a school environment group winning a bunch of money for being the cleanest school in the state. sooo lame and unoriginal.
i just spoke about tolerance, compassion and acceptance in the...
