Hey guys, This will involve uni students that go to: university of sydney, university of NSW or university of technology sydney.
Do those unis offer early entry program, if so which courses??
Any help would be appreciated, its for my cousin.
well my course is IT and business and i havent used any math yet, and i did math 2U + math ext at high school. I know people doing computer science with general maths, but they do struggle with math121 which from what ive seen looks like math ext.
well the unis need money so the easiest way is to get as much students possible. Also some people that get in with uai below the cut off have to be "fee payin" students so no hecs. Its all about the money i guess..
man dont worry about it just do better, i know people who did nothin during the year and ended up at uni. I think the unis now are more nicer when it comes to uai, i know friends with 60 uai gettin into 80uai courses.
maybe we should stop scaring him/her. You dont want them to give up do you?? and as said its only worth 10% those marks...there is still time for improving.
Ah ok then, well if you go ok in ur assesments at school + trials and you do well in your hsc, your assesment marks at school will also rise. Good luck
well for the hsc if u want to get a 60+ uai u need like 70+ in all your subjects so from your marks it would be below 50 easy. Sorry, but its the truth, hope u do well in your other assesments.
Well im not sure on how the arts degrees work but u can check this link out, it tells you the differnet majors of arts: http://www.uow.edu.au/arts/courses/index.html
Well if i were u i would go to tafe and do either a diploma/ certificate course because they can get you a job + get you a place in uni. Just think of it because you could be wasting another 2 years at high school, while you couldve gotten a qualification.
Well it depends, what do you want to do after school? If uni which course? Because if u do mathematics now it would be very beneficial to you later in uni depending on which coruse you want to do. I was told that general is basically for commerce at uni, like accounting and mathematics is for...
Ye im doing a course like that, its B.Information and communication technology, and i major in eBusiness management. You will do managment/ business and IT stuff, there is not as much programming like the other IT courses though, which is a good thing for me.
You can also do internet science...
well with that thinking i wouldnt go to uni. Like others said every course at uni will be difficult and i know, i ask my friends which do different courses and they say it is hard, so no matter what uni course u do its gonna be stressful..
hehe ye im like that aswell. When i was in yr12, 1hr sleep after school was in my daily routine...and ye i get tired aswell after uni especially if u finish at 7:30pm
Ye year 12 can be stressful but hey "enjoy it while it last", because uni life is much much worse! I am more stressed then ever and its only my first year at uni!!
