is COMP3711 like all theory or is there actually any practical side involved? and is there a textbook? according to the bookshop website, there is no textlist for this course.

'networks' as in INFS2607 or COMP3331 as a 3rd year elective?

yeah i just noticed that suddenly we have the choice of doing COMP3331 instead of INFS2607. but since i'm seng/comm and i get a minor in infs, shouldn't i do the INFS subject to satisfy the INFS minor requirements?

has anyone here done COMP3711, INFS2603 and/or INFS2607. i'll be doing them soon, can you tell me the difficulty and anything worthy to know before i do 'em?

yep i can't enrol in comp2111 yet either... and they should put up some more tutes grrr...

but according to this website, http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~studentoffice/06enr.html , we should consult the UNSW handbook for up-to-date programs. and this site, http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/programs/2006/3653.html , suggests that COMP2411 is a core subject.

According to the CSE website, COMP2021 is now known as COMP3222 (i think that's the right numbers) so i imagine the course has changed a bit. So what were the changes? And are SENG students still required to do this course as a core subject. Finally, how hard is COMP2021. I've had friends...

what happens when you do a double degree and you get honours in the other degree and also distinction in commerce? will it show both... that would look pretty awesome commerce with distinction and other degree with 1st-class honours.

no, i think you should be able to get pass with distinction if you chose not to do honours. but if you chose honours you won't get it coz it'll show your honours, which is better anyway. anyway, reading that abstract of the policy, i think it doesn't apply if you started studying at UNSW...

just wondering... are you suppose to actually receive something if you graduate with an overall WAM >= 75.00 ?
