Kathryn i think you should try to stick with both your strengths and the things you like. But, having said that, dance is something you can pursue outside school as well (classes for fun rather than for marks) where you're likely to enjoy dancing more without the pressure of assesments and...
The prelim year was a weird one for me... i started off in high spirits, averaged around 90, moved onto the half yearly with higher spirits, averaged around 95, and then progressively declined until the yearly where i averaged 70 something (excluding my yr 12 subjects).

Sorry i meant a cut-off mark of 45 for the external examination. i.e. whatever scores 45+ usually is 'put aside' and considered seperately with all the works that have been 'put aside' in the state from which they make the exhibitions...

LoL are you doing cosmology? I've always been interested in cosmology, more so than philosophy, but the fact that i don't do physics and would probably be unable to cope made me choose philosophy instead...

i think about 5 teachers at our school marked ours, they wouldn't give us our marks back and im not sure how accurate they are but anyway...

I'm doing Extension 2 English :D - i love english as a subject overall and it gives me the option to express my creativity (while stress from other subjects beats me up to the pulp :P)
