    Thanks for that so far. I have an update - It worked straight away on my brothers computer which is exactly the same as mine. This is probably no help, but when I plug it in, my computer makes a " bu-dom" sound instead of the "bu-ding" that is makes my brothers computer.

    I bought this today, but it won't come up in windows explorer. In the manual it says to "simply plug it in" and a "removable disk icon will appear in explorer". Which doesn't happen. My camera and mp3 player all work through the usb, and i'm not to flash with computers so I have no idea...
