Admins not that bad on changing or adding majors, i filled two forms for changes in majors and they did not mess a single thing up.

Mad thats alright, so what do you actually do? set up stuff, electronics? sorry for all the questions, its just that im gonna do it in spring so i just an idea of whats it about.

IACT303 world wide networking, what do you do in that, and what lab task did you do? just curious. Also have u done ecte182 internet technology?

I never heard of renewable engineering before..................as said ye it would be hard to find employment in australia for that course, but since its rare there might be high pay for it. If you really are interested in doing it go ahead, it depends on your interest.

ye tru, if ur not doing comp sci or any other computer/it related degree dont do IT subjects especially programming ones they are very hard. But i think data base type subjects shouldnt be too bad.

why avoid IACT subjects? i have to do some.

I think you'se are gettin off the topic. This thread is for Repairing the damage of failing 6 subjects not dropping out of uni. Maybe people with experience should give points to improve eg. study techniques etc. Most responses are negative.

why would u start another degree again omg, if u like what u study then keep it. You can fail, as if its gonna stuff up your future career. As long as you finish your degree you'll be ok. What is it better to have nothing or have a degree?

I dont think they expel you. What they'd do is give you a warning about your failure and if it continues then u get a year off uni so u can fix ur problem and then u return. Well thats for my uni anyway, pretty sure ur one should be similar.

Ye nice money for mining and petroleum but its very risky job + bad locations. And another thing normal mining labourers can get up t0 $2000 a week (i acutally know someone who does), so its nothing wow sorry to say.

nah not really if you say that your motherboard has AGP8x you can easily buy a cheap graphics card to run vista.....i.e a radeon 9550 which is like $50.

uni is not so flexible what ever time they set for a lecture/ tutorial thats final, the only way might be is to either do part time or do full time uni but pick tutorials which are in the afternoon and skip all lectures as they arent compulsory. Oh ye my brother works as civil engineer + does...
