i should've mentioned, that had my speed been 1km/h less, i would have just received a fine and no suspension. hence the reason for considering taking it to court.
short story, i got flashed doing 105 in a 60 zone by a parked commo.
3 weeks later the coppa visits my house. wasn't home but left a message, so i took myself to his cop shop where he informed me about my charge.
officially, since i was 45km/h over the limit, i should be charged for dangerous...
i might consider transfering to another uni, but i can't decide which option would have the better outcome: 1. continuing on at my current university (a 'prestigious' university) and graduating with a shit GPA, or 2. transfering to a 'sub-standard' university and graduating with (possibly) a...
the replies in this thread are great and have given me some good ideas. thanks.
i should mention that i work 30+ hour weeks almost every week, and i can count the number of lectures i went to this semester on my left hand. probably the main contributing factor lol.
i've failed 6 out of 12 subjects over the first 3 semesters of my BCom, including 2 subjects i repeated that i failed TWICE.
assuming that i'm allowed to continue on with the degree, and that i manage to pass the rest of my subjects (i'm doing a combined BCom/BFin so i have 5 semesters/2.5...
need some ideas on what foods i can take with me when i'm at uni all day. i need to eat a lot and i can't afford to keep buying food. what are some good foods that are cheap, high in protein and carbs, and dont go bad when they sit in your backpack all day?
How many days a week are you at uni? none, at the moment. due to the following:
How many days/hours a week do you work? 25 - 35 hours a week, 6 days.
Where do you work? some shithole
How much do you roughly make a week & do you live out of home? $350 - $450/wk, after tax, live at home.
let me guess, just cars? i would hazard a guess that if you call them up they will give you a different, cheaper, quote, just because they ask you different questions.
i called for a quote on a R33 skyline turbo and i was expecting something like 2500, but i was pleasantly surprised when they...
a girl at my coles became assistant store manager at ~21 years of age after working in the vegetables for a little while......... so i don't think any qualifications are needed, just the right attitude and personality.
casuals don't have any rules, you just don't go to work, simple as that. don't need to say anything.
but if you think you might want to go back there someday, it might be a good idea to give as much notice as possible. that way if you ask for work in the future they might give you another chance.
yeah, plus you need to consider that diesels, especially ones with a turbo (ie most), need to be serviced more frequently and extensively than petrols because they undergo far more wear.
