Science is stupidly specific in their marking criteria at times. My chem teacher admitted that when she's marking hsc, there are sometimes questions where they have to remark and modify the criteria, because there are too many acceptable answers, so in the end you get screwed and no marks if you...
I definitely agree with some of those points. People from the East(ie most of UNSW) STOP SHITTING ON THE WEST AND SOUTH-WEST. They're people just like you, just because they don't earn as much as you, or live in fancy houses or whatever, doesn't put them beneath you. I'm sick of people at my...
Okay - Top 10 school
(This is for a friend btw)
Ranks:
English Adv - 40/200
3U Maths - 30/150ish
4U Maths - 20/120
Chemistry - 30/100
Physics - 30/110
Thanks!
Edit: MY BAD - I'm actually NOT trolling, I wrote 100 instead of 200 for english - simple mistake! Sorry!
You said it! If you really want to, why not just not drop it but sit the external anyway, you never know! you might even surprise yourself(in a good way) with the mark you get. Just make sure you don't waste too much time on it if you do that, but it's not a bad idea, IMO.
4u maths DOES NOT require 4 hours a day, (although it may for some people).
As long as you UNDERSTAND clearly all the concepts and how they work, you only need to spend around an hour a day. Also, as AAEldar said, DO NOT neglect english in Year 12 - my biggest mistake. English is what...
Hey, you sound like you've answered your own question. And don't worry too much, if you commit yourself to it, then 10 units is not a big risk at all. You've already raised some good points, you could use the extra time to work harder in other subjects, like legal for example.
From what you've...
Top 5 school -
Years 7-11 - everyone's a bunch of lazy sh*ts
Year 12 - Study. STUDY. STUDEEE. like crazy. (super, heavy duty level of competition implied)
I'm gonna miss meeting up and mucking around with my group of friends, and sad as I know that they're all most likely gonna go to a different uni than me...
trust me. Pointless travelling is pointless. And you'll regret not picking Hurlstone for that reason, possibly.
HOWEVER, with that said, from what I've heard from a number of people, St George's student LIFE and CULTURE (not talking about academics at all) is much better than Hurlstones?
So...
Maths teacher who confirmed he plays COD:
Grabbed several whiteboard markers. Headshotted a small group of students.
LEGEND.
Also kicked the front desk over(innocent student) in anger.
Just wanted to ask all of you how medicine is like at UWS.
I'm posting this here, because for once, I want answers that aren't heavily biased toward UNSW.
I'm really not in the know, so any info at all is welcome. Stuff like:
- the student life
- extracurricular activities
-the buildings...
