    O-Week

The SOLS textbook link is useless. Go to the UniShop website and search by Subject code. If nothing comes up yet, it's because your convenor is lazy and you'll find out in the first class.

    O-Week

I will in fact be at the Bollywood thing-o (as will my scary house of five people). PEOPLE FROM THE INTERNET!

    Timetables for 2010 students.

Ok, so for whoever was asking about Creative Arts tutorials and whether they have to go on Monday morning- if you haven't read SOLS yet, my flatmate doing Performance received a SOLSmail saying that YES, DEFINITELY, classes are on Monday morning.

    Scholarship Offers

Plenty of hope. I got it last year through second round.

    O-Week

Nope :) The best thing about those orientations is having a last chance to ask about enrolment etc. If you're all peachy, don't worry about it!

    Scholarship Offers

If you have another scholarship over about 2k or so, you're down the bottom of the list for EdStart. They also had shit-loads of applicants this year, so I couldn't get it for Honours. Bastards.

    O-Week

Not mandatory to go anywhere near the uni during o-week, even the faculty information things (although I would go to those for questions still outstanding about enrolment etc).

    O-Week

I'll probably end up checking out bollywood, but not o-party because I'm somewhat averse to those sorts of gatherings. (It's ok, I'm a weird nerd. :) )

Just call us Team Helpful. Or something. (Perhaps Team Bored is more apt?)

    Accounting Textbook for SALE

Yes, but that's not actually the point that jm made. Thread should have been Sell - Bored of Studies where people actually go to buy things.

    Timetables for 2010 students.

Subjects that say 'All Weeks' usually have the tutorial in week one. However I'm not sure how that's sane for first year first week. My experience is different from Absolute, we have either All Weeks or Not First Week, and they mean exactly what they say. We've never had classes with changing...

    UOW Roll Call 2010

Potentially doing a GradDip instead of doing honours this year. Here's hopin my late app is ok!

The Arts faculty usually opens tutorial enrolment in the week before semester begins, but if you access the enrolment section of SOLS it will tell you the date and time.

    Enrolment

If you can bear to wait a couple of weeks, they'll have huge piles of them sitting around near the UniShop, they usually end up throwing heaps of them out after a month or two.

    Timetables for first years

    Got it in one :)

    Timetables for first years

No. They don't expect you to know what you want to major in yet, which is partially why you do subjects from all majors in first year. You will need to try and figure it out sometime over the next year in order to pick your second year subjects.

    UOW Roll Call 2010

I suppose I can technically post again since I had to enrol again. Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (Politics) 1st or 4th year, depending on what you prefer.

    Timetables for first years

https://www.uow.edu.au/handbook/yr2010/ug/commerce/H10006744.html That's the requirements for the Bachelor of Commerce. Those first seven subjects wherever they fit for you/are scheduled, plus one elective from the second table. For first year: so ACCY111, COMM101, COMM121, ECON101, FIN111...

    No hECS TFN

No, you do not need your TFN if you will not be getting the government to pay any of it. (I know this is true because I've just finished my Honours enrolment for myself and a friend, and he paid all upfront, also all through undergraduate.)

    Timetables for first years

It's the same as Creative Arts (99.99% sure), either way you will find out on Enrolment day :)
