If you're asking complete strangers who know nothing of your tastes whether to spend $1000+ on a new system, I'd say it's best you save your cash for now.
24/30 for Phase I, 36/40 for Phase II. 2nd overall. Pretty happy with that, especially since the Software trial I did today was dead easy.
Project was a Zelda ripoff.

Only had the one major work- Software. Considering I started the beginning of the year, it wasn't tough to get down at all, but three major works I wouldn't want to try.
Definitely a fun ride. Not much introduction to the characters, assuming knowledge of the original, and doesn't take long till some action spars. Strangely enough, as some things feel tighter in execution, others seem to be loosened in anticipation for the third film. While things are happening...
Heh, I'm trying the opposite. Got a copy of Snake Eater that I've been trying to beat for the last couple of months, but never get round to it. My backlog is growing- perfect for post HSC.
Exactly. Rayman, Zelda and Metroid- nice reward, no?
I find it amusing that you think Final Fantasy is the be all and end all of storytelling in games.
I like the idea, but I'm not buying the games I already have (except for Majora's Mask- I cannot physically complete that game with my stuffed 64 controller). Mostly a catch up mechanism then.
There is no way I can order mine, but I do know my favourite of all time- Beyond Good and Evil. I'll just put an unordered list of notable games:
Beyond Good and Evil
Psychonauts
Skies of Arcadia
Earthbound
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Grim Fandango
ICO
Shadow of the Colossus
Rayman 2...
