ok i got to the step before the quadratic equation, but i wanted something neat, so i wolfram alpha'd it and the solution was x and something else. so i wanted to know how to factorise that step.
I dont know what latex is :D but the only bit you might be writing down is first term, it should be a^2 b not 'a to the power of 2b', if you know what i mean.
hmm what do you mean for part b? factorise?
Hey guys!:awesome: I am having some troubles :
a) Find x in terms of a and b if:
(a^2 b)/x^2 + (1+b/x)a = 2b + (a^2)/x
b) Simplify (2^(2n) - 2^(n-1))/(2^n - 2^-1)
c) Find smallest integers such that 12 < 2^m/n < 13
THANKS!!!!!
woah i dont think you get it. the syllabus does not tell you that you are going to get extended responses, short answers, multiple choices. if you get a multiple choice in the exam, will you complain that it didnt say in the syllabus? the syllabus only tells you the CONTENT you are going to learn
there are skills in science that are assumed knowledge. you wouldn't have been how to graph, or how to analyse the periodic table etc. because we learnt that stuff in year 7. there are no excuses, if you knew the info well enough, and understood how to make a timeline, you would have done well
