Are you going to keep studying after trails?

I said to myself this afternoon that from a week after trials to HSC I would wak up 5.30 and do past papers every day before school. And then I laughed at myself. . . . I will do it though. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

    English and UAI

Oh, I've got the exact same problem as you. Do the same subjects too, except spanish instead of italian. I'm so bad at English! Well, I guess I'm not "bad" but I hate it and do worst at it. I hope it doesnt ruin my chances of getting a good UAI, I do fairly well in all my other subjects.

    Catholic School Trials

I think I did well in Chemistry! The multiple choice questions were HARD though... And my teacher got rid of half of the Chemistry of Art Option and randomly put CFC stuff in there... I was fine with it though, CFCs are easy. Uggh... maths 2U on monday, 3U on tuesday and Biology on...

    Is this true?

It sounds unlikely.... In a chemistry exam I wrote two answers once and one of them was correct but I got 0 for writing two answers.

    Catholic School Trials

Yeah, I've got Chemistry this friday. So nervous. As soon as I press 'Submit reply' I'm gonna close the window and study my ass off.

What music do you listen to whilst studying?

Radiohead: :) I also listen to Muse while I study... and sometimes Death Cab For Cutie. I can listen to metal or hardcore or whatever as long as its really soft.

    New English As Of 2009!!!!!!!

I didn't think Chaucer was THAT hard...just really annoying. A Simple Plan was boring though...and I didn't like the blood

    Catholic School Trials

Yeah! That was weird... I wanted to do all three but in the end I chose Text II, and just spoke about how the son goes on the physical journey, but the mother goes on one too. But I crapped on about it for ages.

    Uni Open Days

Boo! I got that too... I dunno if I'm a gonna go... I think they gimmicked our addresses somehow from that USYD Degree in a Day thing. Haha, remember I bumped into you and we didn't know we were both from BOS but then we somehow figured out...that was funny.

    Catholic School Trials

Definately. For 3U, man I nearly died after a practice....much harder than the past HSCs. Kinda makes me feel better that the HSC is easier, but no the fact that I'm doing the real Catholic trial in 6 days.

    muck up day

They banned muck up day at my school, although chalking on the basketball courts is allowed. They've done all the cool stuff already though, like "THEY MADE ME DO IT"...or those crime scene body outlines. We're thinking of jumping the fence one night and camping in the hall...the alarms would...

    What's Your Common Room like?

My common room is smaller than the average classroom. It has two lumpy couches without pillows, because the boys used to have pillow fights, desks along the walls, a really dodgy microwave that I stand far away from because I swear radiation comes out from the corners, a mouldy sandwich press...

    Catholic School Trials

Ive found past Catholic maths papers really hard, but the English ones seem about the same. In my opinion anyway.

    Catholic School Trials

I don't think I'll do well in Section II. I already had this story about a hobo planned, but it didn't have anything to do with different perspectives. I used it anyway, cos I was running out of time. Section I, a) i wrote the hand waving, symbolising something about the end or the embarking...

Is anyone else over the HSC?

Well, this thread is popular, huh? I would'nt say I'm OVER the hsc, just over English, and maths, and chem...and maybe bio. This week is cramming for me, again. I don't know how it always happens.

    Year 12 Year Books?

Someone in my year's mum is doing ours. She asked us all to send her baby/toddler, year 7 and year 12 photos. And we also filled out a questionairre and nominated people for different awards. Thats all I can think of thats gonna be in the book.

    Studing for languages

I do Spanish Continuers, I find just practising past papers every now and then and handing in to the teachers helps. I've only done two so far, but I can see I'm improving already.

    After Trials

Re: no school after trials We still havent started the Options for Chem and Bio, and Maths we've still got two or three more chapters, so I'll definatly be going after trials.
