I am definitely doing Extension Two, along with Extension History. I dropped maths for these two subjects, this makes me very very happy.

I know someone who was in a similar situation with English. His parents had to have an interview with the head teacher, who was his teacher had the time, and he had to sign some thing to say that he was going to remain in Advanced English despite the recommendations of the English faculty.

Make sure you have actually read the texts you are studying... not that you know, I wouldn't have done this *cough*.

I am not really sure what advice I can give you, because I seem to just be a natural english type. The one thing that will really help you is to write. You will not get better at something without practicing. If you have troubles with essays, write essays, on your texts, on anything. If you have...

General Maths despite the fact I am 1st in the course or something, but it is just too easy and I cannot be bothered to waste my time with it. Also, I have to drop something because 15 units is insane.

And if you have multiples then well... yeah, you are pretty much set for a good while.

I would suggest keeping them all too, because unless you drop an extension subject, you will be back down to 11. I would personally keep them all just for the backups. I am doing 13 units for year 12 and I had to drop one of my subjects otherwise I would have 15, which is insane.

I am doing both Extension Two English and Extension History. And it doesn't matter whether you are doing Modern or Ancient, you can do extension either way because its the same for both.

You could always resort to reading the notes for fun... But maybe that is taking it a little too far...

I wholeheartedly agree with this. The night before my mini-PIP for Society and Culture was due I was up till 4AM. Four AM. I have three major works for year 12 next year, and if I don't make a start on them over the christmas holidays it will be a big mistake.

I do both and personally I enjoy Modern History more, it would have to be my favourite subject that I do. But really, it is up to you, I would go Modern History because I have considered dropping Legal, but be prepared, both of them are a lot of memory work.
