Can't we use our concession cards on our student ID cards to get concessions for the T-Way?

Does our ID card allow us to get concessions for using the T way or is it just for rail?

I start uni on Monday and i still haven't bought any textbooks yet. I bought 8 exercise books on Friday (2 for each unit) and pens, but thats about it. Would they tell us at the first lecture or tutorial when and what books to buy for the unit?

Do you have a link where i can read more about this? I have a tute for Intro Eco on Monday so hopefully they tell us more about it. Are lectures still on every week?

I want to get mine for the rail concessions.
