How did everyone find the speaking exam this year? Personally, I found the first two questions way too narrow....I answered the technology one but in my case...didn't get to discuss to in depth and as much as I'd like. The last question I found good...let me bring more ideas in Oh...

I think that I did quite well....the examiner was extremely nice and varied between easier and harder questions. If I can replicate my trial mark of 18/20 then I'll be very very happy ^.^

If you get a Band 6, obviously it doesn't mean you got a mark of 90. It means you achieved Band 6 requirements for the course. This has always confused me, and I do not get why we can't just get raw marks, as the marks are then scaled again by UAC anyway. As for Japanese, I think it works...

Japanese Continuers and Extension Student here. Enjoying Japanese, bit of a challenge sometimes. E-mailing friends in Japan helps more than a textbook...well for me anyway. Forced to stay committed and not to slack off really especially in extension where I'm the only one in the class.

Our Legal Studies exam was long I thought. Was out of 100...yet only 2 hours (20 Multiple Choice, 50 Short Answer, 30 Extended Response). I was happy though because i got 97, next highest was 83, average was 67. What I don't get though is that when the marks were scaled for our reports...
