i found the satellite bit confusing where you had to place the directions.
hey with the laughter theme- one of my friends just incoporated the word 'laughter' once in her last sentence...
is that even allowed???
i found them all okay.
but with the cane toad investigation i performed mine...
haha yeah we had that typo as well- something about light. refraction-> reflection-> refraction.
i got the same english paper as you.. shit.. that was probably the longest story i've seen in any test paper.
yeah the voltmeters cant be attached directly or it will affect the energy flow...
hey i was wondering if anyone happened to have the same science trial that i did. i can recall questions like:
Discuss why Australia should support scientific research (climate change)
A shit diagram of a circuit in multiple choice asking you to identify the voltmeters, etc.
a Skills booklet...
well for coastal management you could think of the different views that a conservationist, engineer, local resident, or even the minister for conservation and environment might have on the issue. in terms of managing the issue, an engineer may support sea walls to stabilise the sand whilst a...
whoops misread your message. well i did coastal management as whole geo issue. we focused on coastal erosion, high level of urbanisation in coastal areas, urban runoff/littering, etc. so theres more ideas for you. i can't see why you're doing erosion as the main topic though ?? hmm.
well...
i think geographical issue as in coastal management/land and water management/spatial inequality/air quality etc that kinda thing.
but you could defintely use 'erosion' in coastal management or land and water management.
hope that was helpful.
lolololol nahh. i meant that you make a certain metal (magnesium) protect another metal(iron) so that it oxidises first and hence it would slow dwn the corrosion that should've occured to that metal(iron). yeah so i was investigating if metals of varying activities affected its performance as a...
mine was a bit chemistry based. it was related to the sacrificial method. i'm just curious to know what others did for theirs ?? (that task where students had to design their own experiments)
yeah i'm probably taking accounting just to have a head start in uni or maybe a career in accounting. Accounting is just a safe career path to me- good pay, it's always in high demand, you don't need to be a brainiac, and you don't need more than 4 years at uni.

well, if my choice wasn't restricted with travelling it would've probably been sydney girls, or north sydney girls. i'd really prefer a co-ed but these girl schools just appealed to me more.
oh well, too bad the selective entries closed a couple of days ago. haha
but anyways good luck to you...
thanks scarletmelange and without wings for the info and advice. :)
i told my careers advisor about it and he asked me a question
'is it the school that gets you the marks or is it 'you'- the student that gets you the marks?'
i know he wanted me to say 'me' but i feel the school plays a part as...
what does it take to be a selective high school student anyways?
or what do 'they' look for from the hundreds of student applications?
(besides the ultimate obvious):)
is it the constant thirst for compettition?
drive and motivation?
the ability to cope with the extra stress?
etc
i'm in...
I'll probably choose:
