The original Scooby Doo!
In contrast to the shows you mentioned, there have been really good Aussie TV. The Secret Life of Us is still one of my favourite shows...
Yeah, and Monash is...ergh Monash. Could they build a campus more in the middle of nowhere but still within a major city?? And people say MQ's bad!
I expect MQ to overtake them in the coming years and be one of the top 8 unis (though I can't imagine MQ being offered entry into the Group of 8...
I am actually quite happy with the current GPA system...
However, I heard that MQ gives more passes and and less D's and HD's compared to other universities (in Commerce and Law at least). Does anyone know if this is true? If so, I would think that this is quite serious, as we are competing...
Isn't replacing a SAM card free?
Anyway I got my Conception Day ticket today, number 111. You might as well buy one folks when you go to SAM Central for the sticker...saves an extra trip.
Oh there's a poster near the SAM with the first announcement (as well as a few bands listed on the...
Maybe you guys could organise a group outing to see 'Rent', currently playing at IO Myers theatre at UNSW till the 12th.
For those not in the know, 'Rent' is a rock musical that tells the year in the life of a group of impoverished young bohemian artists dealing with life and love, under the...
Of course. Apart from the music (which there is a good variety of: rock, hip hop, dance), there should *hopefully* be all the carnival stuff, like dodgems and other rides. It's a really good day to soak to just soak in the atmosphere...but best to go with a big group as it can seem like everyone...
There should be bands throughout the whole day. According to the 'Advantage' mailout, there'll be 4 stages.
I have a sneaking feeling Unpaid Debt will be announced as one of the bands playing the punk/hardcore stage.
LAW415 Dispute Resolution - Awesome lecturer, but sounds like a fair bit of work
LAW500 Litigation - Sounds like a lot of work...and sit-down final exam. Grrr.
LAW412 Criminology - It was good. Only 2 contact hours a week...and the sole academic for the unit is going to be away for 2 of those...
The choice of Youth Group isn't too bad.
They've been playing some solid inner-city shows for quite a while now, and now they've received some mainstream recognition (albeit with more pre-pubescent female fans then the band originally envisaged). The newtown boys dun good. :)
I haven't seen...
Yeah it depends on your subjects.
With the ones I've done, the normally 10% class participation was just added on to the final.
The due dates for the 1st major assignment for the 2 subjects I did as an external were after the date for internals (one by 4 days, the other 1 and half weeks)...
Well if you think that you should have shut her down. That was half the fun of Juris...shutting them up by pointing out the inherent stupidity of their argument.
Only difference with external is that if the lecture is recorded, it will be mailed out to you on CD's in mp3 format. You attend 2 days of oncampus sessions during the break and ofcourse no classes. You may also have different due dates for assignments..
I always get Men's Style magazine. It only comes out every season and is aimed at the Early20's-mid30's urban male professional. A little more high-brow than FHM/Ralph..
