OK i'm guessing here since the maths subs dont tell u hours but:
1st semester:
MATH1001 - 2 lec & 1 tut/wk
MATH1002 - Classes: 2 lec & 1 tut/wk
ENGG1800 = 3 hours of lectures and one 3 hour laboratory session per week.
ENGG1801 = 1 hour of lectures and one 2 hour computer laboratory...
I think the fact that they are new and untested is the biggest issue. It'd be interesting to see how employers would react to it, but to me it seems like its just a 'basic knowledge' course, without fully exploring each stream.
It's sweet then I guess... I doubt it's a coincidence that everyone on BOS doesn't have a letter.. obviously they haven't mailed them out yet... unless they know who we are and hate us ;)
I'm pretty sure you can.
I know it's possible to go from UTS Business to UNSW Commerce for example.
I think the terms are interchangable and the degrees are exactly the same. Commerce = Business.
Alright so computing it is I guess :)
Also, in 2nd semester I think he changed Mechanics to Physics (technological), saying they are pretty much the same thing - any comments on this?
Hey,
you aren't totally out of luck, I remember on enrolment day there was a financial options part or something for people who couldnt pay on the day.
what i'd recommend is to ring usyd ASAP tomorrow and ask them. the number is
1300 362 006. for their help line.
good luck
Hey on enrolment the guy changed chemistry to engineering computing.
How does this limit my options, i'm doing flexible first year and I want to do either mechanical or civil at the end of the year. Does it really matter?
there were these two guys at my school who decided to bring their laptops to every lesson for work. it stopped hapening very quickly.
god the sound of keys clicking is annoying. especially in a silent classroom.
Yeah I think i'll get there ASAP in the morning.
I don't really enjoy standing in lines or crowds or whatever for hours!
Then again i dont enjoy waking up early either. hmmf
Say it says I enrol between 9 and 1pm tomorrow does it mean I have to get there at 9am and stay till 1pm or does it mean just go at anytime between those two?
BE/BSc
I'm pretty sure my subjects are (these are from the FFY brochure):
Differential Calculus
Linear Algebra
Introduction to Engineering Disciplines A
Chemistry 1A or Chemistry Fundamental
Engineering Computing
Not sure if I get to do any science subs in 1st semester.
The engo...
