its really easy to fail as the lecturers mark harshly (compared to skool teachers)
in a nutshell both courses in terms of asessments are a lot of work, but if u enjoy it and are genuinely interested in em for the content (not the uni credit) then do it.

if UNSW werent soo hard to get to (for me) Id sooo do art/science there
you can ask politely I heard (from a lecturer) and they may let you in if you are near say the criteria for band 6 and uai (eg 97.5 and 89 (in chem))
your enthusiasm for the subject may get you in. its not like its this exclusive club, its about pursuing your interests further

Look, you might think that Year 10 is a big deal, that if you don't pick the right subjects you won't get into uni or even that if you screw up you HSC that your life will be a failure. But just realise that its ok to do badly in Year 10 and make it a learning curb instead of putting stress on...
