They are not scaled but they are moderated ie moved so that the highest exam mark becomes the highest assesment mark and so that both sets of numbers have the same mean. There is a thread or two around somewhere...
It has nothing to do with any perceived "ranking" of your school, the numbers...
My sister told me she would give me her iPaq if I go well, think she recanted somewhere along the line... Not sure what well is though, I wanted 90+, but if I had actually done some form of study at any point in the year/not done night and morning before jobs I could have gone 97+. Thing is, my...
Slightly disappointed in some ways, was really hoping for at least one 6er after getting all 6ers in SC but that said my marks are nothing to be upset about even if they are not shout from the rooftops material....
Eco 86
Eng 83 !!!! (failed most assessments considerably, was praying for a...
853 - Marian College Kenthurst
To some extent alphabetical and age related, but my school is sixteen or so years old, some newer schools have lower numbers.
Another example of the incogruent, not to mention baffling, conduct and operations of the Board of Studies :D
Way over simplified definition: Bi-polar is a mood disorder where one experiences depression and generally either mania or hypomania (excessive highs). Bipolar means at opposing ends of a spectrum. Depending on the type of bipolar and its intensity, bipolar can become debilitating while others...
WWI was dead easy!
Guessed it would be peace conferences (but didn't actually get around to even looking over WWI)!
Anyone else think they may have misread the question about which of the Allies had the highest casualties or whatever.... *looks slightly frazzled
Me too :)
Lol, strange that.... :)
The queston was interesting in that it asked you to look at the failings of detente but I thought it was a good question, made you rethink slightly the way you look at detente and that period.
Well it would have made me rethink if I had known any kind...
Darn...
In some ways I am glad they got rid of bad rep, makes you feel so dirty...
But then the other day I went to neg rep someone, not realising that it had been removed. I couldn't help but feel that it was slightly unfair that a longer-term member, albeit for the most part a lurker, could...
Oooh... *gets excited*
Does that mean any bad rep received from NS will disappear completely? *wanders off quietly mumbling to herself about her only rep*
Lol, actually that's what I have been planning on doing after my other exams are over :)
Still trying to get stuff off dad's computer... Soz for the delay *looks bashful*
Me too :(
Paper was waay too long, even if I had been 100% confident in my answers there's no way i could finsih all of it with my slow writing :(
Guesstimate: Late 50's, 60/84 (In which case it would be the first 3U test I have ever passed :uhhuh: )
I agree with the idea to be able to rate sources (though it would mean more replication in use of particular ones --> more likely to have same ones plagiarised/HSCers using same notes with same examples etc). Lol, being dedicated and going through all of them often means you find some gems...
Chance to share some of those media reports you've been hording for a year :)
I'll post some of mine off my dad's putes later but I thought it would be useful if we all shared some of our favourite/best media reports/stats etc :D
I find it strange that English doesn't have a choice of questions, other than between modules. I know it's another question/s to write and mark separately but I know I would feel more secure if their was a choice.
Comments?
The exam was not impossible but that said I forgot almost all of my quotes, even ideas for question 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aaggh........... I could remember Moby Dick really well but barely any of Skrzynecki (hey, another name I am never going...
That's what I thought too :)
I want to do secondary teaching, humanities but can't decide what two subjects specifically...
Lol, my principal even offered me a job but I am not so sure about that.... lol :D

Back to the original point of this thread, I have always been a democrats supporter so I was understandably shocked when their pref deals came out - so much for socially responsible, they have actually become concerned with votes! jk
So, yes, I think the Democrats preferencing will lose a lot...
