ive put off studying for cafs bc my other subjects are harder and most of it is common sense but now the test is on Friday and I havent done as much for it as my other subjects, am I screwed....
also since I'll be tired after English, would it be wise to just focus on revising my BOP and exchange rates notes, looking over my statistics and writing out my labour market essay plans (I feel least confident in this and art of smart predicted it so....)
how are we feeling about eco on Thursday right after English.... also for the case study essay do we include statistics to or just use the statistics from the case study
if we get asked about the distinctive features of the text as the question, how would I adapt my analysis of the themes to that? I have distinctive qualities embedded in my essay but what are some kind of sentence or ideas that I could use to place the emphasis on distinctive qualities since my...
I really hope for mod c we get a free choice and it can be inspired by any of the modules, my mod c texts don't have good themes to talk about but my mod b text has some really easy ones
I usually just rant but my English teacher told me it sounds like im not really going anywhere with what im saying. I think I'll just incorporate more personal and anecdotal references to make it more engaging
I usually go by time so for a 12 marker, spend 24 minutes writing and for an 8 marker spend 16 minutes. In terms of word count the whole of mod c should be 1000 words because you have 40 minutes, similarly to the other modules. If its 10 creative/discursive/persuasive than 500 words for that and...
I just had a look at example B and that would be an okay question but I'm hoping we get a discursive on all the modules because my mod b text was Emma so I could talk about coming of age in the discursive and relate it to myself so it would be easier to come up with something to write lol
What can I include in my paragraphs to avoid rambling? I know anecdotes help make it more engaging but what other things should I keep in mind? Also would it be okay to just link the question to something personal like talking about school, Covid, coming of age etc so I have more direction in...
I think mod c might be forced discursive or persuasive since they did creative in 2019 and a choice last year and the syllabus is new so they might not want to repeat what they've already done to test all the areas if that makes sense.
