Hey all!
I'm currently very confused as many people state that World War 1 notes don't have to be as detailed and concise as it is a Source-based component in the HSC test. However my teachers and fellow classmates state that I should have very detailed notes as it is the core topic on modern...

Yes, I understand this. I don't mean to JUST study before and after sleep. I'm just curious if reading notes before and after sleep is an effective way to reinforce the knowledge.
Hey all!!
So I've heard many people say that studying before and after sleep makes you remember the content better. So is this true or false? I've done some research already, and supposedly it is better to study just before you go to sleep, however, there was no confirmation about studying...
Will you guys recommend 3 subjects a night for study after homework, or is 2 plenty.
For example:
-MONDAY: Homework + Mathematics and Geography
-TUESDAY: Homework + IPT and Business Studies
-WEDNESDAY: Homework + Modern History and English
-THURSDAY: Homwork + Geography and Business...
I've made up-to-date notes with all my subjects except for English. I have also completed all the holiday homework set, except for English... However I have read the Harry Lavender book. I'm now finalizing my IPT major project, which will be the end of my holiday goals. So overall I reckon I did...
Hey all, not sure if this is the right place, but here we go...
I was wondering if the following are low scaling subjects: Business Studies, Geography and Information Processes and Technology. I know that English Standard and General Mathematics are low scaling subjects but I'm not too certain...

So I was just thinking about the ATAR cut-offs of certain university courses, & I didn't quite know how the ATAR requirement is found. From what I've been told, the ATAR cut-off goes higher due to the high demand of the course, so it fluctuates from year to year. However, does the...
Yeah I'm wondering the same thing. My aim for the HSC will be 80+ as the EAS may boost the mark to be eligible for Bachelor of Business. I'm performing well in most of my classes except standard English. I'm very scared that if I do poorly in this subject, my atar will be ruined. So just seeing...
Hey all!
I finally decided that once school starts, ill go to my school councillor to discuss the Educational Access Scheme. I'm eligible for it, but I didn't end up applying for it. So I did a bit of research, & I stumbled upon this website.

Going gym for 1.5 hours is just wasting your time. You should only be spending a maximum of 45mins - 1hour at the gym, MAX. The time after that, you won't gain any muscle at all.
Hey all!
I do standard English as I do somewhat struggle with the subject. I dislike everything about it to the point where I don't even attempt to study/revise for it, as I dislike it that much! I study for my other subjects as I do enjoy them, from Modern History to Mathematics to IPT. In...
Hey all!
I tried to search for a similar thread like this but had no luck. So are the 'Excel HSC Study Guides' any useful, or worth the money. I have seen many different types which range from English to Modern History to Chemisty etc... Do they exceptionally help whilst studying or are they...
A pretty solid year for music this year. I'm an avid music listener, & the best album of the year has to be Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid m.A.A.d City! Cruel Summer is second :)
