I know a few people that transfered after their first year of doing Med Science... as long as you get a D average or so and pass STAT you should be able to transfer into Pharmacy. Good luck! :)
OMG there are actually others that love this show too!!! :D (on the Comedy Channel... sif stay up to watch TV in the wee hours of the night... love my sleep too much)
I was laughing so hard when Richard Simmons was on the show! Haven't seen the one with Robin Williams... and I've kind of...
I quite like USyd. Can't imagine going to UNSW or UTS... or *gasp* somewhere else.
I don't know... I think that the atmosphere at USyd suits me more (not that it really matters or anything) but I like the whole worn-in feeling of USyd. I don't like when things are new and...
Haha! Quoting sources and all.
I guess maths is sort of science-y when you think about it... but I never really think of maths as being a science...
It's not that important anyway. :p
Going on a slight tangent here but couldn't resist commenting:
Haha! Yeah, 'cause people will start losing marks if they talk during PHAR1617 (Social Pharmacy) lectures.
And our Chem lecturer walked out on us today because we all came in late. (we have to walk from Bosch all the way to...
Really? I had no idea! So he did like some sciences in yr 11 and then changed his subjects in year 12 or something? Sounds a bit odd but then again does it really matter in the long run? Meh, congrats to him anyway.
This ultra smart guy from our school (he knows who he is :)) did only maths (4u), english (4u) and history (3u) and got into Medicine at UNSW. That's right-- no sciences at all!
I don't know about the whole two years apart thing. How the hell can that be possible? Is the mailbox at this alleged lake house like a mini time machine or something?
And Keanu Reeves will always be Neo from The Matrix in my eyes. :p
edit: haven't seen it yet... but I'll...
My parents don't open mine either... it's just that when I got it I told them what it was (because they asked) and it reminded them of my marks.
They already knew my marks anyway. They just didn't really say anything about them when I first told them.
My marks aren't that bad... 2 Ds, a...
Examination Results came in the mail today...
Parents are impossible. :burn: Sorry I didn't get all Ds and HDs last semester despite it being 'so easy'. They're annoyed that my marks aren't good enough to brag about to friends and relatives. Well, excuuuuuuuuuuse me.
Ranks? How did you find out what rank you are?
And, uh... 88 out of 100 (scaled from 250 students doing the course maybe)? Or what? Wow, I really have no clue. lol
And if your GPA/rank whatever is so horrible I mustn't be too far behind. My marks for last semester were pretty similar to...
Re: Semester 2 Chatter Thread
-D average
-take the train to Redfern instead of to Central and actually WALK to uni... i.e. stop being lazy
-get half an hour more sleep each morning (catch the later train... I always caught the early one 'just in case' something happened and so had...
In retrospect, the HSC wasn't hard. It was the stress- the feeling of impending doom, the mentality that 'If I screw this up, I've got no future' that made it hard. Oh, and worrying about scaling and aligning and rankings and whatnot. But seriously, it's only as hard as you allow it to be...
Trust me-- there is nothing wrong with doing 'low(er)-scaling' subjects as long as you are willing to put in the effort.
Don't think about scaling (too much). Be happy. :)
Woops... I did 3u maths for the HSC too and only managed a 65. Oh well. Besides, the HSC was a long time ago... heck, I'm one of the higher UAI'd people in the course and I'm not doing so crash hot. Best not to think about it.
archangel leila- extremely impressive results! Especially...
Awwwwwwwwww! Makes you want to punch a wall! That totally sucks!!!
I just scraped a credit (65) for Calc and Stats. :) I predicted a low credit for myself... can't get much lower than that for a credit
