It wasn't that bad, like the rest of the exam it was very biased towards equations and calculations, so I loked it ^_^, and the 7 marker wasn't too bad either
oh, well actually soda ash is Na2CO3, its not actually a base, it's a basic salt
NaHCO3 would be a great one, it's only a buffer solution as just HCO3-, a solution of NaHCO3(aq) would be basic tho

no, it's the concentration of solutes so the water will go from low concentration to high concentration to make the ratio of solute:water the same on both sides of the semipermeable membrane
