stats was a heap of fun, couldn't think of anything i'd rather do with myself....
actually its a pretty good course because the people who run it are fantastic and really just want to see you pass..

yeah in my opinion all first year subjects are pretty bludgy...
don't be too cocky about the oh i work in accounting thing though, because depending on what area you are in you won't even touch the accounting stuff - and apart from that even if you do you will be doing all your journals and...
i think most of the humanities subjects don't have finals as they have hectic assignments during semester.
as joe said steer clear of business and law subjects because i'm pretty sure most of them would have a final exam (in my experience anyway).
if your at kpmg you take the afternoon as study leave against one of your many that you are given. depending on your manager and how closely they watch your timesheets you even possibly just charge this time to admin or research and then use your many study days for a holiday at the end of uni...
not 100% true, some tutes start first week (regardless of whether they are after your lecture). best to check your timetable for what dates each one starts.
yah this is what i do too.
well at least i try to type up notes from them - it tends to work for the first half of the semester, then i study off my lecture notes.
and i actually have a laptop on me a fair amount of the time because of work, so that is how useless i have found it...
depends on what subjects you are doing and the availability of classes.
i did 3 subjects last semester and was at uni 2 days for a combined total of 9 hours.
yes wear a suit. but wear a tie!!!
dunno how relaxed the audit office is, but definately wear a tie for your first day. in my office the only day a guy can get away without wearing a tie is casual friday..
