    I love BoS this year!

Yeah BOS seems to have given straight forward, almost syllabus dot point questions... but you know what, we're all saying this and we'll get an exam thast just random and painful (please don't be modern, ext english or art *fingers cross*)

    Band 6 cutoff?

I'm so nervous about them being strict about answers. Does anyone know what their critera is? I always wrote a little bit more than fit in the lines... Somebody told me that they don't mark anything not in the lines and if this is the case none of my answers will make sense! agh. I found the...

    Sentence or point form?

Yeah I also wonder how stict they are on space limitations. I went to a seminar once and the presenter marked the HSC and said that they don't mark ANYTHING outside the lines, but I've heard other markers say that they mark what you have written and its OK to have little stars and arrows, so I...

    Sentence or point form?

Ok cool, see I'm really not a science person- much more at home in humanities, and so I want to write in sentence form (also helps disguise I don't know what I'm talking about). But people having been saying that point form is the only way to answer. But I think a combination is good.

    Lines of defence

Ok thanks heaps. It seems the deeper we go the more complicated it all becomes. For the first line I'l right: don't let that damn pathogen get in! The rest requires some intense studying.

    Lines of defence

Hey, I really don't understand in the immune response what the lines of defence are? I'm guessing skin is 1st, but where do the mucous membranes, inflammation and antibodies fit in? Please help.

What will be asked this year?

Ok I have really not learnt anything in class all year, I crammed like crazy just before the trial and ended up with 83%, but all that info seems to have leaked out my ears or something. If they ask us about that ^^^ do we need a contemporary one or do we use the macfarlane guy???? Man I am...

    General Thoughts: German Beginners

Ok...

Modules Adv... memorising essays, winging or in between?

I'm learning my essays as best as I can, but also some extra themes and techniques so I can replace a paragraph here or there. I'm worried they will stipulate a poem for Gwen Harwood... Coz there is so much content to remember. Also seriously concerned about the time issue. How do people...

A single sentence to tell wat ur creative will be about?...

I am stressed, go to woolies, talk to an old man who likes fruit and come home enlightened. Based on a true story (I really did go to woolworths once). Please of please BOS... give us a friendly question :)

    Swearing in creative writing??

I think it would probably be ok. One of the rubriks is 'uses lanuage forms and features' and if you use swearing as a technique to get a message across then I can't see how you would be marked down. However, if you feel uncomfortable about it, could you tone it down to say 'crap.'? or would...

What do you do the day before an exam?

I'm wondering what you're supposed to do the day before an exam. People say cramming does nothing but stress you out, but I'm not sure I'd feel right watching dvds or going to the beach when I'll be in an exam hall the next day. So yeah, please give your thoughts...

    Excited~!!

Hey yeah, I'm excited and strangely mellow. I've worked really hard for well... 13 years and can't wait til these exams are over. It's always been there... like looming ahead, but been so far away. I always thought that when the HSC came I'd be so prepared and really really nervous, but it's...

your opinions on experimenting with drugs.. while on schoolies?

We were talking about this at school today, but yeah i don't know. I mean I'm all for the alcohol but I don't want to write off the next day, like I don't want to waste any schoolies time. I mean I'll see what happens... but I don't think it's right to say you can only try drugs while you're...
