i cant remember the numbers. however i can apply a common sense approach...
the H2SO4 was originally the same conecntration as the KOH. However it was diluted by a factor of 10x. Therefore only 1.5mL of KOH would be required (as 15mL of H2SO4 was used)
However, since sulfuric acid is diprotic...
yeah its true about the catalysts... i cant remmeber where i read it. but either in esterification or hydration, the sulfuric acid actually attaches to form ethyl something or other, but then is reformed at the end
citric acid is an acid. from this we get the conjugate base citrate. sodium citrate contains the citrate acid, which is the conjugate base of citric acid
sodium chloride is neutral.
ammonium is the conjugate acid of the base ammonia, hence they are acidic
omg i was just gonna ask this... i didnt know if it meant an equipment... because it said "You have performed a first-hand investigation to model an equilibrium reaction"
i said the SCN- Fe3+ equilibrium reaction but thats an experiment
did anyone finish with ages to go?
i had an hour... and im pretty sure i checked all my worked. but im worried i missed a question. i recgonise all the ones uv been tlkn about in this forum which is good
it doesn't matter that it was 373K. probably just put there to try to confuse people... my teacher always told me to state the equilibrium with a temperature..
eg. K = 1.33 at 373K
Since it changes. But no, don't think it was meant to be 273K
