it's justified merely by its status as a private institution - if you don't like the service or the fees for the service simply turn to alternatives and in this case that's either a cheaper private school or the public sector.
How do my parents feel about it? They think quality education is...
LOL they should teach that abbott is trying to revive the matrimonial causes act 1959 because it's till death do us part in the bible but that's besides the point. I'm pretty sure you could inform students and educate them on the history of the law and the context behind it without studying the...
lol from reading this thread khorne is right - people should read threads on aligning, moderation and scaling so that they can actually provide informed advice/opinions. People who have misinterpreted or haven't read those threads really should not be preaching who and who isn't 'n00b'.
hrmmm... abbott lost my vote.
I don't understand simply how it's going to be a critical study of text. Given that such a large proportion of australian teachers are christian it's impossible to say that some won't teach it based on influences on the structure of western society etc. etc. but...
Well a lot of people have said that people who do get laptops might lose their ability to write neatly and quickly over time. How did the people with laptops overcome that considering written exams seem like such a huge component in university courses?
Cut offs are inflated really but they represent the amount of people that actually want to get into the course - it's more of a supply thing then indicative of level of coursework or reputation of the course.
That's so bullshit. I hate when people bag out others and say tutoring is just a bunch of spoon feeding. Going tutoring and applying yourself to the lesson requires freaking god damn effort especially if it's right after school. Why not have a certified teacher who can help you beyond the normal...
LOL i don't think any subject of high school any where is comparable or is able to reflect your capability in any particular degree - that's why most things can be learnt through a bridging course at uni.
NO WAY - your system is more flawed than the hsc is now. Someone previously said - it's too decentralised. The system your suggesting would make extension 2 mathematics at the same level as general maths. For some students no scaling would not give incentive to students to be ambitious in their...
LOL that's not a very good argument considering some think he is asleep on the job but then again those comments should be reserved for NCAP section :p.
hrmmm i don't think the system is perfect and every system has its flaws but it's pretty fair. No one has suggested a better system which is remotely practical so....
LOL it's David Thai :p. Hahaha my face - hmmm just imagine any ordinary face that's slightly pudgier with an ultra azn nerd haircut. In short i'm one of the azn masses LOL. LOL i might see you if i get into unsw law and do mooting :p
IMHO do the hsc again - you're technically not wasting your time but just refining your studying capabilities for uni. Even if it is UWS, coursework won't be easy considering you got <60 (not that it is "omg horrible!" but there's room to improve i guess) ... Transfers are difficult -...
hopefully bcomm/blaws at unsw with my AAA scholarship - called them today and they reassured me on the guarantee entry :) . Might see you there namu. :)
