Is it ok for music 2 performance elective, for which there is a time limit of 10 minutes for two pieces, to do a piece that is longer than five minute and another that is shorter (eg. 8 minutes and 2 minutes)? I seem to remember hearing from somewhere that they are meant to be two pieces each...

I am just getting back into trumpet. I started playing a while ago then stopped, and i have picked it up recently and im trying to get my technique back. So does anyone know some good trumpet repertoire, stuff that is like cool relaxing jazz stuff or whatever? I am slowly getting my range back...

Seriously, i don't get why people love guy so much. He's good at adding a hell of a lot of ornamentation and stuff to melodies but for me he never really sang musically, like rarely held a melody etc. just showed off his voice. Now im going to listen to mouse on mars.
